fairapps.io is a free, informational website operated by an independent developer. By using it you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

What the service does

AppCheck reads publicly available listing data from the Apple App Store and Google Play and presents it in a different form: the itemised in-app purchase list, prices converted to US dollars, whether any purchase is named as billing weekly, and how often recent negative reviews contain particular words. The store selection is a hand-picked list of apps that passed those same checks on the date shown on that page.

Accuracy, and what we do not claim

• All figures are derived from public store pages that we do not control and that change without notice. A reading is a snapshot of one moment, not a guarantee.
• Apple publishes only a purchase name and a price. Where a name does not state a billing period, the period is genuinely unknown and is reported as unknown — not as "not weekly".
• Google Play does not publish per-purchase names or billing periods at all, so the weekly check cannot be performed there.
• Keyword counts in reviews are word matches, not judgements. A word appearing in a review does not establish that anything improper occurred.
• Currency conversion uses a third-party daily rate and is indicative only.
• Nothing on this site is financial, legal or consumer advice, and nothing here is a statement that any app, developer or business has done anything wrong.

fairapps.io is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc., Google LLC, or any app developer listed on the site. App names, icons and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are shown for identification only. Inclusion in the editor's selection is our own editorial choice and is not a paid placement; we receive no payment from any developer listed.

Acceptable use

• Use the site for personal, non-commercial research.
• Do not use automated means to place unreasonable load on the service, and do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to it.
• Do not republish the site's output in a way that presents it as a verdict about an app or developer, or that strips the accompanying caveats.

Availability

The service is provided free of charge and "as is", without warranty of any kind. It depends on third-party sources and may be unavailable, incomplete or delayed at any time. We may change or withdraw any part of it without notice.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, information presented on this site. Please verify anything that matters directly on the relevant store listing before making a purchase decision.

Corrections

If you believe something shown here is inaccurate — particularly about an app you develop — write to hello@fairapps.io and we will review it and correct or remove it where warranted.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The date at the top reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
